Payment Information
All Payments
All payments must be received within 72 hours of receipt of the invoice. Note that shipping, which is the buyer’s responsibility, cannot proceed until full payment is received and approved.
Please note we do not accept credit card payment for gold, silver, precious stones, or jewelry. Payments for these items must be made by wire transfer.
U.S. Buyers
For purchases of $2,500.00 or less, we accept credit or debit cards, except as noted above. After payment, you will receive an automatic invoice stating "Paid in Full." HOWEVER, this assumes all information completely matches your credit card billing statement (name, address, zip code, card number, expiration date, CCV). If there is not a full and exact match, insufficient funds, or another issue, our credit card processor will automatically void your transaction. Then, depending on the reason it was voided, we will either reprocess your payment manually or contact you to sort this out. Note that you will pay only once for your transaction, although a voided transaction may take 3-10 business days to reverse out of your account.
Purchases over $2,500.00 must be made by wire transfer, and include any and all bank fees.
Non-U.S. Buyers
For purchases of $500.00 or less, we accept credit or debit cards from non-U.S. buyers, except as noted above. However, because our credit card processor cannot verify non-U.S. payments, all non-U.S. payments automatically get voided. We then attempt to manually process the transaction after it has been voided. (Note you will pay only once for your transaction, although a voided transaction may take 7-10 business days to reverse out of your account.)
Purchases over $500.00 must be made by wire transfer, in U.S. dollars, and include any and all bank fees (from your bank and/or any intermediary/corresponding bank they use).
California Sales Tax
California sales tax, which varies by city and county, is added to invoices of all buyers with California addresses, unless the buyer provides us with a current California Seller’s Permit/Resale Number. Buyers outside of California do not pay California sales tax if the purchase is picked up by a bonded courier and delivered outside of San Mateo or Napa Counties, where local tax rates apply. Buyers who pick up their purchases in South San Francisco are subject to the local sales tax; please contact us in advance to arrange pick-up at 888-498-4450 x 102 or info@turnerauctionsonline.com. Please note that purchasers are responsible for any additional district-use-tax reporting.
